New iPad demand is great

So reports that I have read state that the New iPad has already sold out on its preorders. Which now will put this device in even greater demand. As of now the Apple website has a March 19th ship date for the online orders and the limit on those is two per customer. So it looks like if you want to get one on March 16th you would have to get to one of the physical stores and to make an even bigger problem, Apple states that the item will be available come this Friday but some reports are saying that some shipments can be delayed from three days up to three weeks. If these shipping reports are true, this could mean disaster for Apple and would have to ask the question What would Steve Jobs do? The first major item to launch in the post Steve Jobs era might not even hit the market on time? That is just inefficient and would have Jobs rolling in his grave. So for Apple’s sake let’s hope these unconfirmed reports don’t become confirmed or else there are going to be a lot of angry customers waiting at retailers doors.

Apple to unveil some nice stuff on March 7th

Apple to unveil some nice stuff on March 7th

As you have read if you keep up with my blog you know March 7th is fast approaching and with it brings a sense of joy and excitement for anyone who loves to get their hands on new Apple products. Well it has been brought to my attention that there will be 2 Apple iPad 3 models, a 16 GB version and a 32 GB version. Apple is also going to add to the iPad madness by releasing an 8GB iPad 2 which no doubt has been made to target the lower priced tablets and of course the Windows 8 tablets that will be coming soon. Based upon what I have read so far on the iPad 3 it will have a 9.7 inch Full HD QXGA panel with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 which should be crystal clear. I am very excited to see what else will come with the iPad 3, well we are only less than a week away from it so keep your fingers crossed for some more information in the coming days before the March 7th date.

Google to possibly enter the tablet market

Google to possibly enter the tablet market

As we well know the marketplace is flooded with all different types of tablets. Well an analyst from DisplaySearch stated that there may be a Google branded tablet in the near future which will have a 1280×800 resolution and a 7-inch display and possible production starting in April and the initial production is supposedly slated from between 1.5-2 million units, reported by Richard Shim, an analyst from DisplaySearch. The closest tablet to these specs would be the Kindle Fire from Amazon which is also 7-inches but has only a 1024×600 display. So it is interesting to see that Google is not working on putting out hardware along with software for tablets. They are starting to follow suit with Apple and hopefully will make hardware that can best utilize the OS and updates. As previous blogs have stated that there have been problems with certain hardware to upgrade to certain operating systems on Android phones.

New hardware changes for Apple’s products

New hardware changes for Apple’s products

There are reports that Microsoft will be moving away from its traditional iPad, iPod, iPhone dock connector. An updated micro dock that they would add could be helpful in adding a 4G radio, bigger batters and other components that would work in everyone’s favor in this mobile world. This may not seem like the connector is big by any stretch of the imagination but is actually a big component which takes up a lot of space in a phone verses other phones but the 4GLTe radios so by making a smaller dock they could by all accounts actually make room for a better 4G radio. All accounts state that they will not go with a micro-USB connection which is what most phones are using these days, just because Apple has never been one to conform to trends especially when they feel that the hardware is outdated and has poor transfer speeds compared to what they might be able to create. So it will be really great to see what Apple will have in store for the docking port.
