The new Surface Pro 64GB will only have 23 GB of usable hard drive space because the with the recovery partition, built-in apps and Windows 8. It does however support USB 3 Hard Drives and microSDXC cards to extend the memory. The 128 GB edition has 63 GB of storage space.
