Verizon and AT&T are trying to get Netflix to pay for the bandwidth its subscribers use on their networks. Netflix shot a response at the carriers by stating it is giving iPhone customers the ability of turning off the cellular access to Netflix completely and just rely on Wi-Fi to deliver their Netflix. However with more and more people not on unlimited data plans anymore, streaming any high quality video would most likely put you over your limited data plan. So it looks like there is a big issue with these companies asking Netflix to pay for the bandwidth when people are most likely paying for overages due to high quality video. So why would these carriers be so greedy?
