The demand for the tablets is not enough to warrant the heavy investment in consumer education. They also did not hit the price point they had hoped to attain. Samsung does offer it Ativ Smart PC with Windows 8 here in the States through AT&T retail stores. Samsung has not yet completely ruled out the US for Windows RT.
