You would think with the 4G speeds being so much faster than 3G that a simple task as video to video chat.? Well it looks like the Verge has found out some interesting facts about what the New iPad is unable to do.? While the 4G LTE will give you faster download and upload speeds the Facetime video chat will not work on a 4G network.?? As you can see above the Verge shows this being tried on the Verizon 4G LTE network and them getting the message to attach to a wi-fi network to get the Facetime working.? Funny enough back in 2010 Steve Jobs did say Facetime would be wifi only but that was in 2010 and it said that because he knew that cell networks needed to get ready for the future and well wouldn?t you think the future is LTE?? Suppose not since you are still unable to do it.? So I am sorry to say but you are still relegated to Facetime via wifi for the foreseeable future.
