When you first saw the Siri commercials you must of thought yourself, wow that is pretty cool, I want a 4S just for the Siri alone.? I would love to have my phone be my own personal assistant, let me learn how to play the guitar and have it call me names, but one person feels cheated.? His name is Frank M. Fazio and he feels that the commercials for Siri convey what is a misleading and deceptive message about the capabilities of Siri.? So when some feels cheated in America what do we do?? Well of course we sue the pants off of the company to try and make a quick buck.? This looks like it may become a class action law suit as there are many people out there that feel suckered by what ?should be the ease of use of the Siri program.? So there is a lawsuit filed yesterday in the federal court of California and it states this:
“[I]n many of Apple?s television advertisements, individuals are shown using Siri to make appointments, find restaurants, and even learn the guitar chords to classic rock songs or how to tie a tie. In the commercials, all of these tasks are done with ease with the assistance of the iPhone 4S?s Siri feature, a represented functionality contrary to the actual operating results and performance of Siri.”
The claim is simple, he feels it is far less responsive in real life and states that Siri has problems with understanding him , giving him an extremely long wait time or even gave him the wrong answer.? So it looks like the lawsuit is seeking unspecified damages as it states that Siri is a work in progress.? ?I see this is going to be a failed attempt ?for some guy to make some quick cash as I am sure any lawyer will be able to dispute this ease of use issue.? Although I am not a lawyer and for a suit like this to be filed, some lawyer must of thought it was a good idea.
